Every Young Hunter Should Have a Dad Like This

This emotional video reminded us what it's like to hunt with Dad and how memories are created in the outdoors.

Our foundations are important: the ground that hones in on our core values and contributions as adult hunters. Like a tree, young children need guidance in growing. They need to be nurtured, cared for, and led by example. Then, as they grow, they become more independent. They form their own opinions and choose their own paths. Mossy Oak shows us exactly what good guidance and parenting is like in their new series.

Chris Paradise of Mossy Oak takes us on a journey where he shares two special hunts with his son and daughter, Michael and Ava. They are in Ohio for the youth turkey hunting season and as Michael describes this and every hunt as, "...the best day ever."

Watch below as a father takes his children on something far more than just a turkey hunt.

The new series is called "Family Tree" presented by Mossy Oak. It will take you on a journey showing the core values of what makes Mossy Oak not just a company in the outdoor industry, but one that keeps tradition alive by reminding us the real reason we all began hunting and fishing.

"Hunting with my Dad, it means a lot to me because I get to spend time with my Dad and I also get to have fun because, hunting is fun."

Ava describes her hunt with her father: "It's a great experience and I think you would like it if you did try it. I want to say thank you to my Dad and I will never, ever, forget this moment as I think it is very special and I love you Daddy."

Kids don't remember their best day of television or favorite day of playing video games. Passing on tradition, heritage and creating memories with your loved ones makes the Family Tree that much stronger.
