Eva Shockey Dropped Her First North Carolina Buck, and It's a Bruiser

With a news feed full of big bucks this time of year, it's sometimes a little tough for one to stand out from the rest. This one does, and not just because it was harvested by the current face of hunting, Eva Shockey.

What made this giant North Carolina buck unique was the fact that Shockey grounded it without a camera crew present. It was, according to her, the first time she'd EVER hunted without a lens focused on her.

✨My first North Carolina buck!!!!!!!!✨ Whattt!?! I turned down a nice 8-point because he was a bit too young and minutes later this NC brute came cruising by. That is, without a doubt, one of the best bucks we've seen so far this year, and it couldn't have happened to a better person.
