Chêne is Giving Away Duck Stamps With Every Waders Purchase

At Chêne Gear, the company mantra is simple: create waterfowl hunting waders built better. They're also devoting a new initiative to help support hunting opportunities and conservation of the migratory birds that call North America home. For every pair of waders they sell this year, they'll purchase and send a 2022-23 Migratory Bird Stamp to say thanks.

With the conservation support, Chêne is unveiling some new products and enhancing its offerings for the upcoming duck and goose hunting seasons.

"Quality habitat is the foundation to a strong waterfowl population, and the duck stamp program has a stellar record of protecting the wetlands that are vital to not just ducks and geese, but countless other species of wildlife," says Jeff Jones, Chêne's chief product officer. "We want to thank our customers, as well as support this program's important work, by giving a portion of every wader sold back to the birds we've built our lives around pursuing. We encourage customers to pay it forward by purchasing an additional stamp for a new hunter, youth hunter, or even a friend or relative who doesn't hunt but appreciates wildlife and wild places."

Here's more from Jones and the Chêne crew on the special offer.

The brand is also releasing a collection of new products that includes an insulated jacket, rain shell, vest, fleece pieces, and merino base layers. As has come to be expected, every product is backed by Chêne's limited lifetime warranty.

"We started Chêne to finally create the gear we always wished we owned, but was never available on the market, during a lifetime of hunting ducks in demanding, and sometimes miserable, conditions," Jones said. "After receiving overwhelming feedback from customers about our waders, we're excited to offer a full system of apparel that lives up to Chêne's Built Better commitment."

Two new hunting jackets, the Over and Under Jacket ($300) and Hydro-Lok Shell ($380), will be available in August, followed by a Scout Vest ($200) for more versatile layering options. The vest will be available in Mossy Oak Bottomland camo and three solid colors. The jackets have a few more concealment options, with Bottomland, Original Bottomland, and Shadowgrass Habitat colorways in the mix.

In addition, Chêne is releasing more gear to help build a complete waterfowl hunting apparel system, with smart base layer technology and high-performance, season-long functionality no matter the conditions. The Sixty Series ($160) is the foundational piece of Chêne's layering system, built from mid-weight fleece and available in hooded or non-hooded versions. A Merino Wool Top ($100) and Bottom ($100) round out the new products, with 100-percent New Zealand Merino wool that naturally wicks moisture and regulates body temperature at work.

All new gear can be seen at ChêneGear.com, and Duck Stamps will be automatically added to any wader purchase through the end of the year.
