Check Out the Bulletproof Tesla Model S By ArmorMax

In this clip, watch What's Inside? take a bulletproof Tesla P100D Model S out for a test drive.

Equipped by armoring company ArmorMax for an unnamed Middle Eastern client, its impressive specs list goes on and on.

The features include 1-inch glass, an extra-insulated cabin, and thicker doors with bulky back glass, which the hosts describe as being 10 times thicker than standard glass.

In all, there is about 550 pounds worth of armor added, which the crew stated would threaten the vehicle's performance. To see if the additional weight impacts its speed numbers, the crew also breaks a straightaway down a parking lot, flooring the gas to 88 miles per hour, where the added weight held little effect.

Down a freeway, the armored Model S also did an exceptional job of running on Autopilot despite slight gravitation to the left side of the road for reasons unknown.
