Will Anything Ever Top This Awesome Shipping Container House?

There are some pretty cool container houses out there, but this one may be the coolest.

Joseph Dupuis is a Canadian man who made something extraordinary out of three ugly shipping containers, which only cost him $3,400 each.

The shipping container house is located in the wilderness 35 miles away from Ottawa, Canada, and it only took Dupuis 14 hours to build over three months.

Dupuis is an engineer at Algonquin College in Ottawa and has created a sustainable, eco-friendly container home.

He gets his energy from solar panels he has installed, so the most expensive bill he has every month is for his cell phone.

This beautiful getaway cost Dupuis less than $20,000.

The container house doesn't look like much from the outside, but once the doors are open, it turns into a lavish dwelling.

Shipping containers are cheap and sturdy, perfect for a remote metal cabin in the woods. And they make for a pretty hip space!
