Bergmann Simplex Pocket Pistols Are Unlike Any Other Pistol You Have Ever Witnessed

Are these pistols something from a old Sci-Fi Movie?

The Bergmann Simplex Pocket Pistol was a semi-automatic pistol that used a simple blow-back operation. With a magazine forward of the trigger guard, they were quite different than the modern semi-automatic pistols we are familiar with.

There were only about 4,000 of these little pistols ever made before they were done in, probably by the more popular Browning style pistols.

Special thanks to Ian from Forgotten Weapons for finding not just one but two of these interesting variants of a long-lost pistol model.
