Inevitably, the finest guns on the market are always wildly out of your price range, so it's not even worth the trouble of looking at them. But it's nice to indulge in some window shopping.

VO Vapen Royal Collection United Arab Emirates Edition Rifle

Created by Viggo Olsen, founder of VO Vapen, this rifle (also known as the H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Mosque Rifle), was modeled after the exquisite chandeliers of the Abu Dhabi mosque. Like all VO Vapen guns, it features a unique takedown system allowing the gun to take on several different calibers.

This one of a kind gun features gold inlay, thirty-six diamonds, and is valued at over $800,000.

Available in 1873 and 1876 models, this historical gun typically sells for around $100,000 at auction.

England-based, this manufacturer is known for their side-by-side shotguns, which makes the OU shotgun an exception to the norm.

Elegant, lightweight, and designed for easy carry out in the field, this traditional gun was introduced in 1909 and is valued at about $48,000.

Known as the Lambourghinis of shotguns, there are few finer models out there than this Fabbri shotgun. Look for the distinct blue coloring, the trademark of the Fabbri brand.

Founded in 1814, J Purdey & Sons is known for its longstanding tradition of excellence. They are particularly known for their customized bespoke guns, made to a customer's individual measure.

Designed to be superb for hunting, this gun features a solid game rib and a rich, beautiful finish. The value of this gun comes from the fact that each one is handmade and, therefore, one of a kind.

J. Purdey & Sons Best Pair Shotguns

Though it can take up to two years to receive a Purdey gun after an order is placed, it is well worth the wait.
