This Rochester Hills couple says a man shot a deer feeding in their backyard.

The Rochester Hills couple looked out their window and saw a deer lying on the ground.

Click On Detroit reported that the owner went to kick the deer, and sure enough, it had been shot.

The buck lived in Avon Estates for a couple of years before being shot by a man with a .22 caliber rifle.

“Our neighbor noticed it first thing in the morning,” Tammy Trudeau said.

The Trudeaus contacted police and the DNR, but before they arrived, a man in a blue SUV drove into their yard loaded the deer and left.

Tammy, however, snapped a picture of the man. There’s a $1,000 reward for anyone who can identify the man driving the blue Nissan Xterra.
