ScoutLook Weather Mapping Update Allows You to Burn Your Other Maps

The all-new ScoutLook Weather update provides hunters with everything they need and more.

ScoutLook Weather now offers hunters the ability to see property lines, property sizes and landowner information for 97 percent of the U.S. and in all 50 states. This is great for the next time you're hunting a piece of property and you're unsure of where the property boundaries are.

Another great feature of this app is the reliable offline caching. It's what separates this hunting app from most competitors. This allows hunters to store locations in advance if they know there won't be cell reception where they're hunting.

Those are just the new additions. There are several existing features including topographic maps, weather and radar. There isn't a hunt that goes by where I don't pull up ScoutLook at least once. One of neat features is the log capability. Anytime I'm in the woods and I see, hear or observe an animal, I can log it. Why would I do this? Because the app saves the weather, wind direction, barometric pressure and temperature from that log.

For example, two years ago, I observed a buck on the hoof during archery season. I spotted him at 1 p.m. Oct. 31. The following year, I looked back at my logs and knew that even that early in the afternoon, the bucks are moving. The weather, wind direction and temperature are all available from that previous hunt, which let me know the exact conditions when I sighted that buck.

ScoutLook provides almost any mapping technique hunters will ever need. Try it out and you won't be disappointed!
