Both rifles feature an 18-inch carbon fiber-wrapped stainless barrel. The barrel has a unique ported muzzle brake that lets you tune the recoil impulse. Savage says this helps stabilizes the muzzle for faster, more accurate follow-ups.

The MSR 10 Competition HD comes in .308 Win. It has an overall length of 36.13-39.38 inches and weighs 9.05 pounds.

Both rifles also feature a two-stage trigger, with the first stage set at 2.5 pounds with the second stage set at 4 pounds.
