Dwaine Caraway took to the steps of City Hall to send a message to the National Rifle Association.
Guns have certainly been the topic of conversation over the last few weeks in our divided country. Recently, Dwaine Caraway, a City Council member and previous interim mayor of Dallas, issued a statement urging the NRA to move its annual leadership forum scheduled for May.
Many reports like this one surfaced from the City Lab. Many Texans and other U.S. citizens were appalled by Caraway’s statements.
It is estimated that the NRA convention would bring approximately $40 million worth of economic revenue to the city of Dallas during this year’s show.
Pigman, a well-known outdoor personality, was born and raised in Texas and takes a lot of pride in where he’s from and what he stands for. He also had a few thoughts Caraway’s comments.
This will piss some of you off, but I don't care. To the Dallas Mayor…if you don't appreciate the NRA bringing $40M worth of economic revenue to your city….find another town to work in. #ThisIsTexas #LawAbiding #GunToting #TaxPaying #Americans #NRA #StandAndDefend #DallasNRA2018

The NRA stood strong on their plan to come to Dallas. Things should be interesting come the weekend of the show, as there will likely be groups protesting against both firearms and the NRA.
Pigman will be there, ready speak and stand up for what he believes in.
