How to Tie a String Loop on Your Bow

For all those archery enthusiasts out there, here's how to tie a string loop on your bow.

It can be very helpful to know how to tie your own string loop. There are several right ways and several wrong ways to do it. La Crosse Archery gives us their advice on how to tie durable loop:

This is important to know because it provides a little more room for error after release for short axle-to-axle bows. It also helps to minimize torque off your release at full draw.

After you tie a loop, the next step will be to shoot through paper to make sure the loop height is correct. If any minor adjustments are needed, you can then adjust accordingly. Once you finalize your height, you can attach nock spacers, and then you're ready to shoot.
