Do Wooden Bullets Actually Work?

When vampires attack, wooden bullets would be handy, right?

In Hollywood movies, wooden bullets are often used to dispatch the living dead. Will a wooden bullet fly true and hit hard in reality? Taofledermaus, our resident videographer and ammo tester, tries out some shotgun slugs made of wood as well as resin.

Tested on giant gummy bears, clay blocks, and a mannequin, these experimental shotgun slugs are quite interesting!

Taofledermaus tests his giant wooden shotgun slugs made of ironwood. Also tested are shotgun slugs made out of resin. These experimental slugs hit the targets with surprising impact for their light 5-gram weight.

Be sure to check out the bonus outtakes with a local fisherman shooting at a piñata for even more priceless moments.
