The folks at Vortex Optics prove that you don't need to spend over $1,000 on a scope to hit a target at 1,000 yards. In fact, you can pull off this epic shot with only spending a grand total of, well, a grand for the rifle and scope!

So what is this epic setup made of? Good questions. These guys were shooting Hornady 140 grain ELD-M ammo from a Ruger American Predator rifle that was outfitted with a Diamondback 3-9x Tactical scope and some Viper rings.
