This might be the one crappie recipe to rule them all.
Depending on where live, springtime is one of the best times of the year to catch big crappies. If you are like most crappie fishermen, being able to take a few of these fish home to the frying pan is a treat they look forward to all year.
If that sounds like you, this bacon wrapped crappie recipe is one you are going to want to remember the next time you have enough to fillet up yourself.
Andrew Rochon, from Ontario OUT OF DOORS, breaks it all down.
As seen in the description of the video, the ingredients to this crappie recipe are very simple. Just wrap some crappie fillets in maple bacon, sprinkle with some salt and pepper, and fry them up.
Those vegetables would probably accompany just about any meal, but pairing them like this would make a meal fit for any outdoorsman. Even those who don’t really care for fish would have a hard time not sneaking a bite when you weren’t looking!
So what do you think? Will this crappie recipe makes its way into your kitchen this year? It probably should!
