Watching a wolf on a treadmill reinstates our confidence in the intelligence of these animals.
Granted, this footage comes from a fenced-in wildlife sanctuary in Austria known as the Wolf Science Center. Nevertheless, it features one of the most interesting contraptions we've ever seen: the world's second largest treadmill.
Amazingly, one of the Center's wolf inhabitants, named Kaspar, has taken on the challenge of learning to use the treadmill, and seems to be excelling at it.
Again, we admit this isn't a wild animal, but the studies being conducted relating to the animals' use of the treadmill, and therefore their cognitive skills, is pretty fascinating.
And while we're marveling at this wolf's feat, why not take it as inspiration? Get outside and start moving, we could all spend a little more time exercising and getting in shape.
