The Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport is a very popular AR15 that can be bought for less than $700. In the interest of creating a more affordable AR15, the engineers over at Smith & Wesson decided not to include a dust cover or forward assist in their M&P15 Sport model. But does it matter?

This video compares the Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport with the ATI Omni Hybrid. They are both .223 and 5.56 – but the ATI Omni Hybrid has a dust cover and forward assist.
