This group of manatee huddled into a cove surrounded by paddle boarders, kayakers, boaters and divers are about to show what happens when they're sick of it.
Manatees are some of the most docile, friendly creatures known, but they have their limit like anything else.
Push them into a corner and they may do nothing, but push them too hard and they might just have a reaction to it like this group did.
This is what a manatee explosion looks like:
First of all let's hope no one got hurt in that mad stampede. It might not be as bad as it looks being the film was in slow motion, but based on the silt they kicked up that mass of mobile manatees were moving!
There was at least a dozen snorkelers swimming around those big animals when they broke, but it looked like they all made it safely out.
There seemed to be some kind of line or barrier holding everyone back and there's a sign that you just can't read, but make no mistake those animals were fed up and just bolted!
No telling if the footage was taken from a drone, a tower, or a hot air balloon for that matter, but you've got to ask yourself if you would snorkel up to a hundred manatees that average about 900 pounds each.
