It looks like a scene right out of the Disney movie "Frozen," but a frozen Niagara Falls is real, and it's drawing a crowd.
Weeks of severe cold temperatures have caused Niagara Falls to freeze, creating a beautiful winter wonderland display. Mist from the falls have glazed lamp posts and trees making them look as though they have been sculpted out of snow.
The Niagara River continues to flow underneath the frozen surface of the three falls, which together comprise the natural attraction. However, the massive build up of ice make it appear as though the falls are frozen solid.
Visitors have come from miles around to witness this beautiful scene. Weather forecasters say the falls will stay in this state for several days, as cold temperatures continue to linger. This spectacle will come to an end eventually, so check it out if you're in the area.
