Cody Meyer recently set the bassin' world abuzz with his potential world record spotted bass. We know have video that will truly blow your mind.
Anyone who knows his or her way around a fishing rod has heard about Cody Meyer's potential world record spotted bass catch. We first reported it here on Wide Open Spaces, detailing the story with some mind-boggling images of this giant 10.80 lb chunk.
Well folks, now we have video to share of this truly impressive fish! Word is, Meyer's phoned Tim Little (current IGFA spotted bass world record holder) shortly after landing this brute. Little grabbed his camera, a certified scale, and made the long drive down to Bullard's Bar to help document this history-making catch.
We think it's pretty cool the camaraderie these anglers share. And how special is it to have the current record holder film, photograph, and help certify what could possibly be the new world record.
Is your jaw literally hanging wide open? What a beast of a spotted bass!
Big congrats to Myer's for putting this record fish in the boat. And a big thanks to Tim Little and Tactical Bassin' for documenting this incredible catch on film.
Now to see who catches it next.
