Two turkeys with one arrow is a pretty impressive feat. This hunter did it from 70 yards away.
For many hunters, killing two turkeys in a season makes for a pretty good year. Not only did this hunter get a daily double, he killed both birds with a single arrow launched from 70 yards away.
Watch the video to see how it happened.
While there was surely an element of luck involved in this shot, it still took some serious skill to pull off.
First, the hunter was able to slip within 70 yards of the turkeys without being detected, which is not always an easy feat. Second, he was able to range the birds and compensate by holding high with his 60 yard pin. The double might not have been what this hunter was after, but who among us would turn down an outcome like this?
