This Weird Campsite in Amsterdam Has No Tents [PICS]

Centrumeiland is a new campground off IJ lake in Amsterdam, but there are no tents.

Instead of tents, this campground has artistic structures that up to 28 guests can stay in. The project is part of UrbanCampsiteAmsterdam, an open-air exhibition project.

Centrumeiland is made up of 14 strange mobile homes built by Annette van Driel and Francis Nijenhuis out of recycled material. Once considered a barren wasteland, Centrumeiland is now a strip of artistic expression.

Check out these non-traditional camping structures in the slideshow and choose which one you would want to stay in.
