The M2 Browning or "Ma Deuce" is a $10,000 death machine.
This may be the first time in history that a M2 Browning has been used to give a gun safety lesson. Today, we learned the cardinal rule of "Texas Style" gun safety is to "get a gun so damn big, the kids can't even function it."
Check out the video below to see a prime example of how well "Texas Style" gun safety actually works.
The Ma Deuce is certainly a historic piece of weaponry. It was developed back at the end of World War 1 and slings .50 caliber rounds at a rate that will eat through just about anything. It is effective against infantry, unarmored or lightly armored vehicles and boats, light fortifications and low-flying aircraft.
Time has certainly gotten plenty of use out of this weapon on the battlefield. Now, it seems gun safety courses will be part of the gun's retirement in the future.
