The Tennessee spring turkey hunt ended on May 15, culminating in the largest harvest in three years.
Tennessee hunters enjoyed a banner 2016 spring turkey season, harvesting 32,252 birds, making it the largest total in three years. In 2015, 158 less birds were killed and a deficit of 953 turkey were taken in 2014.
2016 marks the 14th consecutive year that spring harvest totals have peaked above 30,000 birds.
