The SuperTag: Montana Offers Once-In-A-Lifetime Hunting Opportunity

Montana’s SuperTag deadline is today, July 3, 2014.

The SuperTag is the equivalent of the North American dream hunt, giving the eight lottery-drawn winners an opportunity to harvest moose, sheep, goat, deer, elk, antelope, bison, and mountain lion in the state’s famed hunting districts.

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) will draw one tag for each species, and the tag can be used in any hunting district, including the renowned trophy districts that have kept Montana on the big game hunting map for so long.

With otherwise tight restrictions on where Montana hunters can pursue certain game during hunting season, the SuperTag allows for the utmost locational freedom.

Money from SuperTag drawing entries goes towards the state’s FWP enforcement efforts, as well as improvements to hunting access and conservation efforts.

Entrants must have a current year’s conservation license, but can purchase as many $5 entries in the drawing as they wish.

Hunters can buy entries through the Online Licensing Service or at FWP offices and select license providers.

The draw date will be held in mid-July, so don’t waste anymore time and try your luck at a hunt of a lifetime.
