The U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit's SFC Horner hit the target standing from 850 yards with a Desert Tactical .338 Lapua after hitting it from a ground position.
Practice makes perfect and this guy's definitely been practicing.
You had better be a lot farther away than 850 yards if this gentleman has a bead on you. Watch what you can do with the right firearm and a load of natural talent.
Okay I'll say it: you can't see the target or the hit in this video, but I sure don't think it's going out on a limb to say that the objective was achieved.
Anybody who thinks that this guy can't hit what he's aiming at with the Desert Tactical .338 Lapua, even at 850 yards, can just go ahead and hold the target out there. I mean as long as he's aiming for the steel plate you're holding, you're perfectly safe!
The more men and women that can be trained to shoot like this, the safer our country will be.
