These shotshells come in 3-inch and 3 1/2-inch length and pack a lot of shot. The 3-inch version has a full 1 7/8-ounce of shot that is a blend of Tungsten-Matrix and Kent Diamond Shot. This heavy load still achieves 1200 feet per second from a 24-inch barrel. Tight patterns can be achieved with the right choke out to 50 yards. This ammo has significant recoil in a lightweight shotgun, but is not bad out of a full-sized semi-auto.

Federal Strut Shock

Federal offers 3-inch or 3 1/2-inch loads in size #4, 5 or 6 at velocities of 1200-1300 feet per second. Granulated shot buffer protects the pellets for less deformation and greater long range pattern density. These are Federal’s moderately priced turkey load that offer a high level of performance.

With extra hard copper plated shot, and pattern over 80% with super full choke these are very efficient shotshells worth shooting this turkey season. With loads of 1 7/8-ounce and velocities over 1200 feet per second these are value priced loads that perform as well as much higher priced ammo.
