This Cold War military trainer has all the accuracy for small game hunting with features no other .22 rifle can touch.
Let's face it, .22 rifles are the ultimate small game getters. They also do well in the fun gun department and the "survivalist" department, too.
I have shot many .22 LR rifles, but my favorite is the Romanian M69 training rifle. It is military tough, has a classy flare, fine accuracy, and a few features today's commercial .22 rifles do not have.
So is the M69 a good fit for you? See it in action here:
More from Wide Open Spaces:
Taken together after hundreds of rounds downrange with the m69 I must say I will take this rimfire rifle over its modern counterparts. It has classy European lines with typical ComBloc "function first" workmanship along with features I have always wanted in a game getting rifle.
If only modern manufacturers would take notice. Do you think the M69 has a place in your kit?
