Shooting Old School 'Cut' Shotgun Shells [VIDEO]

In the days before shotgun slugs were available, backwoods ingenuity came up with "cut" shotgun shells for big game. 

Old school knowledge is always a great study, especially when it may come in handy in an emergency situation.

The projectile in this video is similar to Glasier safety slug bullets for the effect on target. This practice is not recommended, however, as barrel and chamber pressures may exceed safe measures because of the oversized projectile forcing and squeezing through the barrel.

This is definitely an interesting video, but please do not try this at home.
