A polycarbonate lexan bullet was made to fit inside a standard 12 gauge shotgun shell. This material is well-known for use in safety glasses, safety shields and a variety of other safety bulletproof products. It can take quite a beating.

So what happens when polycarbonate bullets are fired at a sheet of polycarbonate material? That lightweight projectile indeed has a mind of its own and goes where it wants.
