See the beauty of a five-month hike on the Pacific Crest Trail in just three minutes.
The Pacific Crest Trail is on just about every hiker's list of dream trails to complete. The 2,663-mile-long trail goes from the border of Mexico all the way up to Canada.
It is also a part of the Triple Crown of Hiking, which also includes the Appalachian Trail and the Continental Divide Trail.
Numerous people set out every year to conquer the expansive Pacific Crest Trail, with few actually succeeding. On average it takes almost five months to complete, with the fastest time ever recorded at 53 days.
Lucky for you, hikers from YouTube's Halfway Anywhere completed the trail and broke it down into a three-minute video so you can see what it is like.
I have a huge amount of respect for the people who can see these long-distance trails through. It takes an amazing amount of will, commitment, and downright grit to do.
I hope to one day have enough time to head out on any of the long-distance trails the U.S. has to offer. The Pacific Crest Trail is definitely on the top of my list of ones I would like to try.
If I ever get to I will be sure to take lots of photos and videos to share the experience with everyone.
