This buck and doe meet in this great trail cam video, but look closely at these whitetails.
When the rut is on, bucks will run themselves ragged chasing does.
Judging by the steam coming out of this buck, he’s primed to get his groove on with the doe pictured with him, but look closely at these deer.
At first glance they don’t seem too abnormal, but you can notice the ribs right away on that doe and a bit of a ‘skin’ condition on her hide.
When that buck appears he seems like a normal rutting buck, then you see the knots all over his backside.
Could these deer be in some stage of CWD, Chronic Wasting Disease?
