Ruger’s 50th Anniversary Design Contest

Vote now in Ruger’s 50th Anniversary design contest!

The makers of the legendary rimfire rifle is celebrating its 50th anniversary by reaching out to America and encouraging people to share customizations made to their rifles. Hopeful participants were asked to submit three photos of their customized rifle (with the addendum that the 10/22 receiver must still be intact to qualify), along with a brief description and an itemized list of parts used in the design.

Submissions closed on October 18 for anyone who might have hoped to sneak in a last minute submission, but there is still a way to participate. On October 21, Ruger announced the ten finalists in the design contest, and from now until Friday, November 1, America is invited to vote for their favorites.

The grand prize winner will win a production version of their own rifle, a trip to Newport, NH to personally see the production run, as well as $5000 worth of Roger products.  All other finalists will receive a Ruger firearm of their own choice.
