RifleGear is Moving HQ from California to North Texas

RifleGear says ‘Goodbye California, hello Texas!’

RifleGear, a firearms retailer currently headquartered in California, has chosen Plano, Texas for its new 15,054 square feet facility which will be located at Windhaven Park Shopping Center near the Dallas North Tollway.

Almost half of the space will be devoted to their retail showroom space, which will give them an area to show off their offerings, including tactical rifles, shotguns, handguns, and accessories. It will even feature a training room.

RifleGear previously handled their online fulfillment in California with a big distribution center inclusive of a small retail location that clients used to pick up their firearms and accessories.

Eiko Christian, VP of RifleGear, says they are excited about the north Texas location and hopes the “savvy and affluent residents” of the Lone Star State will help them expand their retail business.

In hopes that their business does well in Texas, they plan to buy or develop a building after their five-year lease runs out.

The plan for RifleGear is to be in the new Plano location by early 2015, and to move the headquarters from Fountain Valley, CA to this location sometime in 2016.

David Cochran with Dallas-based E. Smith Realty Partners represented RifleGear in the deal, and says “They are looking forward to building a big footprint here in North Texas.”
