Ever catch a pike that just didn't want to be released?
The small northern pike in this video didn't want to part ways with the anglers who caught it. It probably figured it would fare better in the hands of the fishermen than in the mouths of the predators just offshore.
At the start of the video, the released pike reluctantly swims back into the murky water. Just a few seconds later, the little fish comes jumping back towards shore with a much bigger pike in hot pursuit. It makes one more impressive maneuver onto the beach and out of the big fish's reach. That's one clever fish. But to the little feller's dismay, the anglers pick him up off the beach and release him right back into the water. It's a hard knock life out there for fish.
