Check out this incredible video as an angler makes a rare catch while ice fishing on the St. Clair River.

Every time you cast out a line while fishing, you never quite know what you might catch. That thrill of the unknown is one of the most exciting parts of fishing for a lot of anglers.

The fisherman in the video uploaded by ProFishermanJones is dropping a line in six feet of water and is targeting pike and panfish using live minnows and a tear drop jig. He hauls in several sunfish before reeling in another catch that turns out to be a giant salamander, sometimes called a mud puppy. You have to see this!
