Seriously, this puppy and fawn are just too insanely adorable together.
When some German farmers found this one-week-old fawn abandoned near a hop field, they decided to bring it to a family who had raised deer before. The family adopted the fawn, bottle-fed him back to health, and named him Hansi.
Their 12-week-old Australian Shepherd puppy, named Lia, found instant kinship with Hansi. Since the fawn's welcome into the family, Lia has stayed by Hansi's side through feedings, play times, and more.
The puppy and fawn are pretty inseparable. Occasionally, Lia tries to steal a swig from Hansi's bottle, or nips at his face like puppies do. Hansi doesn't seem to mind all that much.
Pet photographer Anna Auerbach, from Regensburg, Germany, captured the animal cuddles seen here. She stated;
The two of them get along really well. Hansi sees Lia and the other dogs she is being brought up with as family. The shoot only took about 30 minutes. All I had to do was lie on the grass and wait for the right moments - there were so many.
We promised cuteness, and the special duo of Lia and Hansi delivered. If you're ever having a bad day, just remember these two and smile.
