Here is a powerful reminder that dogs truly are man’s best friend. Not only are they great companions, but a good dog can be trained to complete many tasks.
Yes, a good dog can be trained to be a great hunting companion, but there is so much more that they can do as well.
There are thousands of people in the United States (and all over the world) that depend on service dogs to help them live their lives. While service dogs are traditionally associated with people with physical disabilities, many service dogs are now being trained to assist those with mental and emotional scars now as well.
In my opinion, the makers of this video did an outstanding job of capturing both the emotional scars that are carried by many people, especially combat veterans, and the utility of a good service dog in helping them overcome their difficulties.
