This is some exciting fast action as pro angler Brandon Palaniuk catches his personal best largemouth.
The action is fast and furious as professional fisherman Brandon Palaniuk hooks and lands a huge largemouth bass. He caught the bucketmouth on a public lake in Texas last month.
The entire scene was captured on a GoPro camera, including the weighing of the big bass at 12 pounds, 4 ounces, Palaniuk’s personal best so far.
This is an awesome video, in High Def no less, showing the catch and release later in the day, with the camera underwater as the lunker swims away in good health.
Especially nice are Palaniuk’s comments before he releases the bass. He recounts how he caught the big fish in front of a grandfather and his 4-year old grandson. The little boy and his granddad were excited to see such a giant fish caught right in front of their eyes.
Palaniuk mentions how that little boy might even catch the same bass again someday. It’s a wonderful sentiment and a very cool attitude to share with viewers as Palaniuk releases the fish.
