In this case, Larry has a vintage double barreled shotgun that has full fixed chokes. Those chokes are commonly found on older shotguns for shooting tighter patterns farther, as the old timers liked to say. A “hard shootin’ shotgun” is a poor choice for quick up close flushing game.
