An amazing piece of footage shows a musky battling what appears to be a nice brown trout.

While we didn’t get to see the strike, this muskellunge obviously has the upper hand. These large predators are equally at home in waters that harbor trout, as well as warm water species. Between them and their closely related cousins, the northern pike, they are two of the most voracious predators that swim.
Anytime we see the genus Esox, we know that something’s about to happen. We just hope that it happens at the end of our line.
