Some Missouri school teachers are getting specialized training to deal with the possibility of school shootings by arming themselves.
Ten Missouri school districts will have their teachers trained with 40 hours of hands on firearm experience, mainly to battle the rising risks of a school shooting.

Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico and many other states have already trained teachers in gun usage, and some schools have even hired ex-military personal to be on hand to protect our children.
There are people that disagree with this type of training for teachers or the use of guns in schools at all, but I have to say they're looking at it the wrong way. This is indeed one step closer to safer schools for all our children, and that's something any parent can stand behind.
Our children are the future, and we must protect them with any means possible.
