Michigan, in cooperation with the National Wild Turkey Foundation, is offering Wild Turkey Management Cooperator Patches. Read on to see how to get yours.
You can get your Michigan wild turkey management cooperator patch by sending a check or money order for $5 to the National Wild Turkey Federation at:
P.O. Box 8, Orleans, MI 48865
All hunters under the age of 18 may receive a free patch by mailing a copy of their spring turkey license to the address above.
The National Wild Turkey Foundation of Michigan has also implemented a new youth patch design contest. Phoebe Talaga of Lake Orion High School in Lake Orion, Michigan, was selected as the 2015 Wild Turkey Management Cooperator patch contest winner.
All proceeds from patch sales are used by the National Wild Turkey Foundation to fund wild turkey management projects in Michigan.

The Michigan DNR also encourages all hunters to submit information about their spring turkey hunting. One way of doing this is to complete a turkey hunter survey after the completion of their hunting season.
Visit www.michigan.gov/hunting and click on the “Wildlife Surveys and Reports” tab on the left-hand side of the page to find the survey.
