Check out these incredible images of a crocodile attacking a bull shark in Australia’s Kakadu National Park.
The 18-foot crocodile dubbed Brutus by local guides cornered the bull shark in Kakadu’s Adelaide River. Sydney resident Andrew Paice witnessed the attack and took these photos.
Paice told ABC News that the bull shark may have escaped from Brutus’s grasp.
“Brutus is such an old croc,” Paice said. “His teeth aren’t really good, so he couldn’t puncture him very well.”
Kakadu National Park is well known for its vicious crocodiles. In June, a crocodile pulled a fisherman from his boat and ate him alive. And in August of last year, a crocodile ate a man in the park while he was swimming during his birthday party.
