Normally, anglers have to head out to open waters in order to find marlin.
That wasn't the case in Cabo San Lucas last week.
Instead of swimming free and hunting in the waters of the Pacific Ocean, the striped marlin decided to enter the harbor and check out the action in the local marina.
The characteristically high dorsal fin probably frightened a few people in the marina, but at least the videographer knew that it was a marlin.
Why did the fish decide to enter the harbor? Nobody knows. Maybe it got lost on its way to the equatorial region for the winter.
One thing's for sure, the marlin was less impressed with the marina than the folks on the docks were with the marlin.
