Make Sure You Know These Wisconsin Deer Registration Changes [VIDEO]

All deer registrations in Wisconsin are now digital or by phone.

You will no longer need to find a check station in Wisconsin to register your deer harvest this year. Wisconsin is moving to a new format where you register via the internet or by the phone. See more of the changes in the video below.

It’s good to see technology advancing to make things easier, it’s also good to see some of the traditions of these check stations won’t be necessarily be lost either. Check the Wisconsin DNR’s webpage to find a list of stations you can still take your deer to.

Also, don’t forget you have less time to register your deer starting this year. New regulations require registration by 5:00 p.m. the day following a successful hunt.

If you have additional questions, the Wisconsin DNR website is planning a live chat on their webpage for anyone with additional questions about the new regulations Monday, November 16.
