Wanna learn how to make a crossbow from scratch? Watch this clip from Discovery's "Dual Survival."
If you ever wanted to learn how to make a crossbow from materials found in the woods, this video is for you.
Watch Joe Teti from Discovery's "Dual Survival" make this impressive crossbow with nothing but bamboo and a string.
To make a crossbow, one has to innovative and be resourceful, like Teti was in this video.
If you try this at home, remember all you need are the four crucial parts: the limb, the body, the string, and the trigger. The limb is attached to the body and the string is threaded along the limb. Make sure the string is long enough so when it's pulled back to the trigger, it has enough tension to send the arrow flying. If you follow Teti's advice, the trigger has "got to be dead on."
Now get out there, find some bamboo, and make a crossbow strong enough to take down a cranky boar.
