Unlike previous 'Mad Max' films, the latest sequel in the franchise features guns blazing in full force.
The "Mad Max" film franchise has been pretty successful since the first film released starring Mel Gibson in 1979. Since its debut it has had a cult following in both the cinematic and video game worlds. I mean, who doesn't like post-apocalyptic movies with a badass roaming around the desert saving those in need?
The movies haven't always used action-packed scenes with guns blazing. In most of the films guns were rarely used, or used more wisely I should say. The newest film, "Mad Max: Fury Road," takes a very different approach with guns being used for most of the movie by anyone who can get their hands on one.
For all of those wondering which of the many guns were used during the filming of the movie, here is a complete rundown of them all courtesy of IMDB:
- 12 Gauge Double Barrel Shotgun
- 12 Gauge Sawed Off Double Barrel Shotgun
- 12 Gauge Automatic Shotgun
- Rossi M92 .357 Lever Action
- Flintlock Rifle
On a side note for all you "Mad Max" fans out there, another follow-up for Fury Road called "Mad Max: Wasteland" is in the works. They haven't set a release date yet, but as good as this film did at the box offices you know it's coming soon.
