A group of mountain bikers were enjoying their Memorial Day weekend in Kincaid Park in Anchorage, Alaska when a moose charged out of the woods, nearly knocking them over.
On May 23, a group of mountain bikers were on a nice ride through the Alaskan wilderness.
They must have come too close to some moose babies because when they pass by, the mother moose explodes from the woods at full charge.
The video replays the moose charge in slow motion to show just how close the angry mother moose got to knocking the biker over. If the moose had gotten the biker on the ground, there would have surely been some hoof stomping.
Luckily, when the moose came out of the trees, the two guys in front furiously pedaled on while the guy with the camera abandoned his bike and sprinted back down the trail. The moose luckily didn't follow and returned to the woods, most likely checking on her young.
You never know what is going to come out of the woods, especially in the Alaskan backcountry.
