Justin Bieber Saves Russian Fisherman from Bear Attack

Here’s an example of how a Justin Bieber ringtone might one day save your life.

Russian fishermen Igor Vorozhbitsyn escaped the clutches of a violent brown bear when his Justin Bieber ringtone went off and sent the brown bear fleeing.

Igor Vorozhbitsyn, 46, was on his way to one of his favorite fishing holes in northern Russia’s Yakutia Republic when the bear ambushed him from behind.

“I had parked my car and was walking towards the spot I’d marked out when there was a tremendous impact on my back and the bear was on top of me,” Vorozhbitsyn told reporters.

As the bear struck Vorozhbitsyn, Bieber’s maddening pop hit “Baby” rang out on his cellphone. Apparently, it was too unbearable for the brown bear.

Yes, even ferocious Russian brown bears can’t handle Justin Bieber.

Severely wounded, Vorozhbitsyn used his phone to call for help. He was rescued by local fishermen and brought to a nearby hospital for treatment.

It was perhaps the only instance that Justin Bieber has ever been a useful part of this world.

“I know that sort of ringtone isn’t to everyone’s taste but my granddaughter loaded it onto my phone for a joke,” Vorozhbitsyn said.
